A unique Timberweld heavy timber frame structure was used for Schutte's new corporate office, built after a major fire destroyed this one hundred year old lumber yard. Many exotic wood species were used as interior finishes, including bamboo, purple heart , and jatoba flooring, lace wood and genuine mahogany paneling and trim, and other domestic hardwoods such as cherry, walnut, and painted radiata pine.
