The Reece Nichols building at 119th and Quivira was a test site for the Air-Fixture system, a modern alternative to VAV systems. It uses two plenums, one for supply and one for return, eliminating duct work. The Air-Fixture system allows each office individual control of the temperature through operable diffusers. Air-Fixture makes office layout changes very easy.
