A. L. Huber constructed this successful, turnkey, design-build project in San Antonio, Texas. Nationwide Papers, a previous customer, asked A. L. Huber to submit a competitive design-build proposal for this 80,000 square foot distribution center, showroom, and office building. A. L. Huber assembled a tremendous project team and submitted the winning proposal.

Nationwide Papers was relying solely upon A. L. Huber to have the facility fully designed, permitted, and constructed prior to their aggressive move in date. A. L. Huber immediately went to work, leading the team through the pre-construction phase and determining that all of the project features were fully integrated, while closely monitoring the project budget and schedule.

A. L. Huber engaged Kaster Architects for the architectural work. San Antonio design build subcontractors were utilized for the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical designs. A leading civil engineering firm in San Antonio designed the site work and assisted with local ordinances.

Once the building permit was obtained, the construction phase fully commenced. At times, the project had over 200 craftsmen on site. The early completion and occupancy allowed Nationwide Papers to sell and close on their existing facility much earlier than planned.
