The new 40,000 sq. ft. Lipari Brothers Sun Fresh Market features a fresh, contemporary design, including a large, inviting glass entry. Canopies, lighting, and architectural details provide human-scale elements to the center. Site improvements include enhanced landscaping and pedestrian links to surrounding streets. The existing retail center was also redesigned to be compatible with and complementary to the grocery.
The development was part of the critical retail revitalization on Kansas City’s East Side. A.L. Huber contracted with several neighborhood and area consultants to maximize community exposure and encourage workforce development opportunities for both the construction trade and retail development.
