A.L. Huber is proud to celebrate the completion of the latest milestone at St. Thomas Aquinas High School: a brand-new football field and expanded classroom space. This project marks the latest chapter in our long-standing partnership with the school, where we’ve played a key role in transforming the campus over multiple phases.
The new football field isn’t just a place for Friday night lights—it’s a space built for champions. Designed with performance, durability, and student safety in mind, the upgraded field enhances the student-athlete experience and provides a vibrant space for the entire school community to gather and celebrate.
Alongside the athletic upgrades, expanded classroom spaces are now open and ready to serve the next generation of scholars and leaders. These academic enhancements were strategically delivered during the school year with minimal disruption to faculty and students, a testament to the careful planning and collaborative approach our team brings to every project.
Highlights of our work at St. Thomas Aquinas include:
- Auxiliary Gymnasium Addition – A 9,400 sq. ft. expansion with new restrooms and a multipurpose athletic space.
- Fitness Center & Weight Room – An 8,000 sq. ft. first-class facility that rivals Division I collegiate programs.
- Athletic Suite Renovation – A complete remodel of the 15,000 sq. ft. locker rooms, coaches’ offices, training, and wrestling rooms—complete with major MEP system upgrades.
- Innovation Studio & Classroom Updates – Modernized academic spaces with STEM enhancements, updated technology, and refreshed interiors throughout.
- Learning Commons & Library Renovations – Reimagined for 21st-century learning, this space is now a hub of collaboration and discovery.
- New Track & Field Upgrades – Including field events and infrastructure improvements to support a comprehensive athletics program.
Each phase was executed with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and value. We’re especially proud of the significant cost savings returned to the Owner at every stage.
