The ANDA Simmons Community Living project was the renovation of two historic structures in the Argentine neighborhood in Kansas City, KS. One building was a former funeral parlor built in 1927, and the other a former YMCA built in 1937 that served the railway. Both buildings were converted into senior living apartments. During renovation, it was critical that we preserved as much of the buildings as we could, as they were both listed on the State Register of Historic Places.
