The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to promote the development of self-esteem, values, and skills for boys and girls ages 5-18, with special emphasis on youth from disadvantaged circumstances. One of their essential needs is to operate within a building that provides classrooms, meals, and recreational opportunities for the Club kids to learn, relax, and play.
The J&D Wagner Unit is a multi-use facility that serves an important purpose in a KC urban neighborhood. The gymnasium is filled with children of all ages after school and on the weekends, providing a safe and fun environment.
