Heartland Community Church

A.L. Huber was selected to repurpose an abandoned big-box retail store into Heartland Community Church, a sustainably focused church with room for growth. Heartland had reached the point where they exceeded their capacity – from seats in their existing auditorium to parking spots near the building and spaces in the building for people to hang out and live life together. So, they found a new home to help advance their mission – a place where kids can be nurtured, teenagers can be teenagers, and adults can connect and grow in meaningful ways. They wanted a new facility to allow all this and more. This space allows for smaller counseling, prayer, and discipleship areas and larger rooms for team meetings, leadership events, and discipleship classes. The project included 111,500 sq ft of demolition, tenant finish, and exterior renovation focusing on sustainability.

Project Features:

  • Offices and gathering areas
  • Worships center
