At A.L. Huber Construction, a Kansas City-based construction company, community involvement is more than something we talk about—it’s something we actively live out. We were honored to sponsor and participate in this year’s Big KC Open, an incredible event benefiting Children’s Mercy, an organization that plays a vital role in caring for children and families across our region.
The Big KC Open brought together Kansas City construction companies, local businesses, community leaders, and supporters for a day focused on connection, generosity, and purpose. It was inspiring to see so many people rally around a shared mission: supporting the lifesaving and life-changing work happening every day at Children’s Mercy.
Celebrating Team A.L. Huber
We’re proud to share that our own VP, Casey McBride, and his A.L. Huber Construction team had a strong showing at the event, placing 2nd in the First Flight. Their performance reflects the teamwork, dedication, and competitive spirit that our team brings not only to events like this—but to every project we take on.
Beyond the competition, the day was filled with great conversations, meaningful connections, and a collective commitment to making a difference.
Special Recognition: Moira Holland
A special and well-deserved recognition goes to Moira Holland, Business Development Director at A.L. Moira’s passion for giving back and her commitment to supporting children and families facing unimaginable challenges truly embody the heart of our company. We’re incredibly proud of her and grateful for the impact she continues to make in our community.
