A.L. Huber recently participated in and sponsored the Golf FORE Scholarships Tournament hosted by The Builders, bringing together construction industry professionals in support of students pursuing careers in construction.
Held annually at Ironhorse Golf Club, the tournament raises funds for The Builders Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to students majoring in construction-related fields throughout Missouri, Kansas, and the surrounding region. The foundation was established in 1992 and has helped support the next generation of construction professionals through industry-funded scholarships and educational opportunities.
This event is especially meaningful to the A.L. Huber team with Phil Thomas serving as Scholarship Chair. Supporting workforce development and helping students pursue careers in construction continues to be an important part of investing in the future of the industry.
The tournament also serves as an opportunity for contractors, trade partners, and industry leaders to come together outside of active project work while supporting a shared cause. In addition to sponsorships and team participation, proceeds from the event directly contribute to scholarship funding for students preparing to enter the construction field.
