Last week, members of the Kansas City AEC community gathered for an evening of celebration and recognition at the SMPS Kansas City Marketing Communication Awards. The annual event showcases the best in marketing strategies, branding, and communication within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
Our own Director of Marketing, Sarah Lero, played a key role in bringing the night to life. Since February, she and her committees worked tirelessly to coordinate every detail of the galaโfrom the call for entries and coordinating judges to selecting the keynote speaker, engaging sponsors, and planning the event experience.
The night was already a success, but it became even more memorable when A.L. Huber was recognized with two Merit Awards:
- Corporate Rebrand
- New Website
These projects were more than just visual updatesโthey reflect who we are as a company. Our rebrand marked an evolution from A.L. Huber General Contractor to A.L. Huber Construction, signaling our growth while staying true to our strong foundation. The redesigned website highlights our portfolio, people, and values in a way thatโs easy to navigate and more reflective of the A.L. Huber story.
We are honored that these efforts were recognized among our peers in the AEC industry. These awards celebrate the collective vision, creativity, and collaboration of our entire team and partners who contributed to making them possible.
At A.L. Huber, we believe strong communication is at the heart of every successful projectโwhether itโs with our clients, trade partners, or community. Receiving recognition for our marketing efforts is both humbling and motivating as we continue to share our story and the work weโre most proud of.
