Healing House

Demo Day at Healing House

At A.L. Huber, we know that construction is more than just bricks and beams—it’s about building hope, safety, and opportunity. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Healing House, a local nonprofit transforming lives through addiction recovery housing and supportive services.

This month, our team joined Healing House for a powerful Demo Day event, where we kicked off demolition on a site that will soon become the new Family Enrichment Center—a place dedicated to helping families rebuild, reconnect, and grow stronger together.

The energy on site was electric. Volunteers, community members, and supporters gathered to witness the start of something truly meaningful. We weren’t just tearing down walls—we were clearing space for a new chapter of healing and restoration.

Watch the video to hear Bobbi Joe Reed, Founder & CEO of Healing House, share the heart behind the project and what this new center will mean for families in recovery.

The Family Enrichment Center will serve as a safe haven for families navigating the challenges of recovery. It will offer counseling spaces, parenting classes, and resources aimed at keeping families together through some of their toughest times. As Bobbi Jo so passionately explains, this space will be a “place of healing, hope, and new beginnings.”

At A.L. Huber, we are honored to play a role in this transformation—both in our work on the jobsite and in our support of Healing House’s mission. Demo Day may mark the beginning of the build, but it also stands as a symbol of progress—for every individual and every family who walks through those future doors.

Stay tuned as we continue construction on this inspiring project. Together, we’re not just building a building—we’re building a future full of possibility.
