9-phase renovation to Kansas City’s historic Raphael Hotel, which remained open the entire duration. Lobby upgrades, room, guest spaces, meeting rooms, fitness center, exterior improvements and a new patio were part of the project. Named Top 500 Hotels in Travel & Leisure.
Since 1984, A.L. Huber provided over 145,000 sq. ft. of project delivery from a beautiful chapel addition, new gymnasium, several renovations and classroom upgrades, to a new multi-purpose facility. Work was at both the Wornall location and on the Locus campus.
Both the exterior and interior improvements were derived from historical photographs of the Vanderslice from back in the early 1900’s. Renovation of interior included new wood floors, custom moldings and trim, a/v and french doors to the terrace.
