22,000 sf Jeffersonian-designed building for the Cocherl Family Foundation. This is the third Heartland Services building on Leawood, Kansas site we have built for the Cocherl Family.
The historic Westport Presbyterian Church was devastated inside and out from a fire in 2009. A.L. Huber carefully reconstructed the structure and built a large multi-purpose addition to serve as a community space after fire. The original stained-glass windows and stone were preserved and reinstalled.
This incredible transformation turned a big-box retail store into a vibrant community church in Olathe, KS. Project included 111,500 SF of demolition, tenant finish and exterior renovation. Sustainability was a focus from design through construction and especially during construction demolition.
Shelterwood Academy is located on a park-like setting of rolling hills in Independence, Missouri. Serving at risk teens, the Academy recently hired A.L. Huber to construct a new chapel and residential lodge.
